Arihant Indian National Biology Olympiad

The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education conducts the Indian National Biology Olympiad (INBO) and this specialized book has been designed to provide relevant and the best study material for the preparation of INBO, National Standard Examination in Biology (NSEB)  and other Biology Olympiads. This book has been designed to give the students an insight and proficiency into almost all the areas of Biology asked in various Biology Olympiads.

The present book has been divided into eight chapters namely Biosystematics, Cell Biology, Genetics & Evolution, Plant Anatomy, Physiology & Reproduction, Animal Anatomy, Physiology & Reproduction, Ecology & Environment, Ethology and Biology in Human Welfare, each sub-divided into number of topics as per the syllabi of the Olympiads. The book contains complete theory exactly on the pattern of INBO and NSEB with sufficient number of solved examples set according to the pattern and level of Indian National Physics Olympiads. Dedicated exercises for both INBO and NSEB have been given in the book. Chapterwise coverage of all the questions of INBO & NSEB from 2000-2015 has been provided in the book Additional Solved Examples have been given for better understanding of the concepts. Each chapter has two level exercises divided according to INBO and NSEB. Problems from recently held Olympiads have also been given in the book. The book also contains last four years’ (2012-2015) solved papers of INBO and NSEB with detailed and authentic solutions for comprehensive understanding of the concepts on which the questions were based.
